It is supposed to be mid-spring in Sydney. One day good, next crappy. Temps in low 20's. Wishing the weather would make up its mind and choose. 🏳‍🌈

It's the middle of winter in Japan. There's a Japanese proverb that says, "When winter comes, spring is near."

You're right: when you watch your new video, you can feel the heat that must have been outside the train 🥵 ! In my region in southern Germany, it was 35 degrees yesterday, very humid with so-called "tropical nights" and well over 20 degrees Celsius, heavy thunderstorms are expected... 🙄
I was able to observe a lot in your new video, for example after leaving "Ofuna Station": interesting to see that it's not just in my home country that people no longer seem to value well-maintained railway facilities... the undergrowth next to and sometimes on the tracks is growing undisturbed on the Japanese railways too...
In another station, you can see lots of schoolchildren on the platform and even after you leave the train, lots of young people can be seen right next to the track, probably streaming towards the station - reminds me of the Alice Cooper song "School's Out"... 😄

There are several high schools around Kita-Kamakura Station, and the platforms fill with students in the mornings and evenings. One high school is built within the grounds of a temple. I took the entrance exam for that high school a long time ago and passed, but I went to a public high school in another location instead. However, I wish I had gone to a high school along the Enoshima Electric Railway line.
The railway company explains that the increase in weeds on the tracks is due to the fact that they no longer use herbicides, but it's probably just negligence. Well, even if the grass grows, it may not be causing any real harm.
They call it a tropical night in Germany too. Make sure you take care of your health so you don't dream about shay-geared locomotives.

😂 Dreaming of a Shay locomotive wouldn't be the worst thing... 🙄😄
In truth, unfortunately, I haven't dreamed of trains lately, even though they play a significant role in my life ☺️ or what would you say if you were almost born on a train like me... 🤔

@@wandajackson3410 I'm a freelancer now, but I still have dreams about 30 years ago when I was a company employee. I was always chasing deadlines.
I feel relieved when I wake up, but I think it was easier being a company employee. I don't want to go back to the company I was working for.
I'm sure that if you and I were to move to Antarctica, where there are no trains, we would often dream about trains.
      That would be unfortunate.Maybe.

We can't see the Sagami River or Enoshima from this line. The line is located east of the Enoshima area, over the mountains.
